To prepare Applied College graduates, job seekers, and employees across various disciplines to face current and future challenges.
Objectives
- Equip students with professional skills for the job market and improve the quality of outcomes.
- Increase the percentage of students and graduates with professional certifications.
- Integrate professional certifications into academic curricula.
- Enhance the percentage of faculty members with practical expertise.
- Expand partnerships with entities that grant professional certifications.
- Boost collaborations with target organizations to establish partnerships with Applied Colleges, improving the quality of their workforce.
- Establish a center for training and certification exams.
Tasks
- Identify professional certifications for all college programs that align with current and future job market needs.
- Review curricula directly linked to professional certifications periodically.
- Inventory all academic and professional faculty members associated with professional certifications and work on qualifying them.
- Communicate with organizations that offer professional certifications to establish partnerships for training or necessary qualification for beneficiaries.
- Identify the needs of the training and certification center and submit them to the relevant authorities.
- Develop a mechanism for prioritizing Applied College students for support in professional certification courses.
- Automate the prioritization mechanism for ease of use.
- Coordinate with the Training Unit regarding professional certification courses.
