To prepare Applied College graduates, job seekers, and employees across various disciplines to face current and future challenges.


Objectives

  • Equip students with professional skills for the job market and improve the quality of outcomes.
  • Increase the percentage of students and graduates with professional certifications.
  • Integrate professional certifications into academic curricula.
  • Enhance the percentage of faculty members with practical expertise.
  • Expand partnerships with entities that grant professional certifications.
  • Boost collaborations with target organizations to establish partnerships with Applied Colleges, improving the quality of their workforce.
  • Establish a center for training and certification exams.


Tasks

  • Identify professional certifications for all college programs that align with current and future job market needs.
  • Review curricula directly linked to professional certifications periodically.
  • Inventory all academic and professional faculty members associated with professional certifications and work on qualifying them.
  • Communicate with organizations that offer professional certifications to establish partnerships for training or necessary qualification for beneficiaries.
  • Identify the needs of the training and certification center and submit them to the relevant authorities.
  • Develop a mechanism for prioritizing Applied College students for support in professional certification courses.
  • Automate the prioritization mechanism for ease of use.
  • Coordinate with the Training Unit regarding professional certification courses.
