Practical Training Terminology

Training Entity:

Refers to any organization registered under the Civil Service System, Ministry of Labor, or Ministry of Commerce, whether governmental or private.

Training Plan:

A timeline provided by the training entity outlining the tasks the trainee will perform during the training period.

Field Supervisor:

The direct supervisor responsible for the trainee at the training entity during the training period.

Academic Supervisor:

A faculty member from the college who serves as the direct academic supervisor for the trainee during the training period.

Trainee:

A student who has met all field training requirements and has been granted a training opportunity.

Training Coordinator:

A member of the training committee within the program, directly responsible for coordinating the course in the program.

Practical Training Committee:

The committee responsible for coordinating practical training within the college.


Practical Training Requirements

Students become eligible to enroll in the practical training course upon fulfilling the following conditions:

  • Completion of all prerequisite requirements for the training course.
  • Meeting the specific training conditions set by the college for each program.
  • Adherence to the academic regulations and their implementing rules.


Practical Training Mechanism

  1. Listing students eligible for practical training.
  2. Issuing training letters to target training entities.
  3. Conducting a training orientation program.
  4. Students commencing their training at assigned entities.
  5. Weekly reports and field visits.
  6. Final report and evaluation.
