The trainee

The trainee students must comply with the following:

  • Attend the introductory training program held by the college's training committee at the beginning of each semester.
  • Start training at the designated times.
  • Adhere to the training schedule and in case of absence due to illness or force majeure, the training entity and academic supervisor must be notified with proof of excuse.
  • The student must submit a report every two weeks during the training period and send it electronically via their university email to the academic supervisor's email on the specified delivery dates.
  • The student must submit their final report and send it electronically via their university email to the academic supervisor's email on the specified delivery dates.
  • The student must present a presentation of their final report at the end of the training period.
  • Students are not allowed to change their training entity except under extreme circumstances and with the approval of the practical training committee.
  • In case the student faces any problem, they must inform the academic supervisor who, in turn, raises it to the college's practical training committee.
  • Students are not allowed to train outside the Najran region except with the approval of the college's practical training committee and in certain entities.
  • Adherence to the University's training regulations and systems, according to the university's regulations and the regulatory framework for training.
  • Compliance with the regulations and rules of the entity where they are training.


The academic supervisor

The academic supervisor's duties are as follows:

  • Attend the introductory training program held by the college's training unit every semester.
  • Send training letters, the initiation form (Form 1), and the evaluation form (Form 2) to the relevant training entities via the university email to the official training entity email or deliver them manually in coordination with the college's practical training unit.
  • Send the weekly report form for students (Form 3) and the final report writing methodology.
  • Conduct field visits at the specified times and upload their assessment immediately to the training platform.
  • Coordinate with the field supervisor and receive the training entity evaluation form (Form 2).
  • Submit the evaluation form for the final discussion committee (Form 4) to the discussion committee.
  • Upload student training files to the training cloud storage.
  • Provide the training unit with the feedback form (Form 5).


The field supervisor

The field supervisor's roles include::

  • Coordinating and collaborating with academic supervisors to determine the students' training plan in line with the training objectives and the training entity's capabilities.
  • Addressing the problems and difficulties that students may encounter during their training.
  • Attending sessions held between students and their academic supervisors at the training site whenever possible.
  • Completing the initiation form (Form 1) and the training entity evaluation form (Form 2) and sending them via the academic supervisor's official email.
  • The training committee
  • Its duties include:
  • Preparing an annual business plan for the programs and activities according to a timeline at the beginning of each academic year
  • Developing policies and procedures necessary for the practical training mechanism at the college.
  • Monitoring and supervising practical training for programs through training coordinators for each program.
  • Creating and developing a practical training guide as needed.
  • Establishing a digital platform dedicated to all matters related to practical training
  • Preparing and analyzing feedback surveys for practical training
  • Participating in the preparation of the college's strategic plan and annual report
