Committee Responsibilities
The committee is responsible for supporting strategic partnerships with the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and activating the role of the applied college in meeting the developmental requirements and current and future labor market needs, locally and nationally, in terms of supply and demand. To achieve this, the committee is tasked with the following:
Coordinating with the university to determine the number of accepted students and targeted programs in order to guide students towards specializations that support localization, in accordance with reports on the supply and demand of the labor market.
Coordinating with the sectors and entities related to localization to direct the required support to the applied college.
Monitoring the work progress of the applied college and its branches within the university and reviewing its reports.
Proposing strategic partnerships with the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
Establishing criteria for selecting and evaluating the CEO, Deputy CEO, Assistant CEO, and Executive Directors.
Proposing performance indicators and annual targets for the applied college and submitting them to the university council for approval.
