Mission

To build distinguished community partnerships that contribute to increasing self-generated resources and meet societal needs by promoting governance that supports development and enhances the public image of the Applied College and the University.


Objectives

  • Execute all tasks and activities outlined in the committee’s annual plan.
  • Promote the Applied College and its academic and training programs to various sectors.
  • Coordinate field visits by the college to public, private, and non-profit sectors.
  • Facilitate partnerships and agreements between the Applied College and public, private, and non-profit sectors to enhance community service and contribute to sustainable community development.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with public, private, and charitable sectors to align the college’s programs with labor market needs and continuously update them.


Tasks

  • Develop an annual action plan for the committee's tasks and activities, including a timeline and specific procedures and responsibilities.
  • Identify strategic partners from government, private, and international sectors to support the college’s goals and programs.
  • Build community partnerships and offer diverse community services.
  • Establish communication links with all partners and introduce them to the college and its programs.
  • Pursue memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements between the college and its partners and ensure their activation.
  • Invite partners to contribute to the development of the college's programs through advisory committees, ensuring alignment with labor market requirements.
  • Encourage partners to provide workshops for students and faculty and participate in the college's official events.
  • Organize visits for college members or students to partner organizations.
  • Build partnerships with targeted sectors to facilitate student training and provide employment opportunities for interns.
  • Prepare periodic and annual reports on the committee’s tasks and activities to support continuous improvement and submit them to the Assistant CEO for Support Services.
  • Propose developmental initiatives that enhance self-generated resources and contribute to human development.
