Introduction
The harmful effects of smoking are well known to everyone in this age, but unfortunately, it still claims the lives of many adults and children. The Saudi Ministry of Health seeks to reduce smoking and help smokers quit to protect their lives, prevent diseases caused by it, and secure a healthy and comfortable life free of diseases for all members of society. The term smoking is not limited to just cigarettes, but also includes electronic cigarettes, hookah, and others.

The world celebrates an awareness day on May 31 of each year to educate people about the importance of combating smoking in all its forms and raising awareness of the risks it poses, which can cause diseases and death.

Raising awareness of the risks of smoking on lung health.
