The Applied College - Main Campus - organizes the New Student Orientation Meeting and honors its outstanding students - Second Semester 1445
The Student Guidance Committee, in collaboration with the Student
Activities Committee and the Alumni Committee at the Applied College -
Main Campus, organized the Orientation and Guidance Meeting for new
students and honored outstanding students on Sunday, 9 Rajab 1445 AH,
corresponding to January 22, 2024. The event was initiated with a
welcoming speech by Dr. Mohammed Saad Al Jabbar, the Executive Vice
President of the Applied College, who greeted the faculty members and new
students, emphasizing the importance of dedication and diligence in
academic achievement and the role of academic excellence in shaping
students' character, preparing them for the future, and contributing to
the development of society and the nation.
Following that, Mr. Hamza Shatnawi discussed all the academic terms and
procedures related to the admission and registration system, which
students can carry out through the Academic System Portal. Dr. Naji
Al-Shareef then spoke about the concept of academic counseling and its
importance in guiding students, highlighting the roles of both the advisor
and the student in the counseling process. Dr. Fawaz Aklan provided a
detailed explanation of the college's excellent website, its departments,
and all the options and links that are relevant to students.
Finally, the college administration concluded the event by honoring the
graduating and outstanding students, extending their wishes for continued
success and fulfillment.
