Overview of Applied College

In line with the Ministry of Education's initiative to transform community colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into applied colleges, which will have an impact on the most prominent goals of Vision 2030, a decision has been issued to convert each community college into an applied college based on the decision of the Council of University Affairs No. (09-04-1442) dated 14-09-1442 H.
The role of the applied college is to increase its capacity after its conversion to reach more than 20% of high school graduates in 2025, by encouraging students to enroll in it by granting them a financial reward equal to other university students, and activating the role of strategic partnerships with the private sector. At the same time, vocational units were established to contribute to the preparation of guides and plans; to qualify the teaching staff and link them to professional certificates, and to provide the necessary vocational guidance for students wishing to enroll in the college.
