The Student Activities Committee, in collaboration with the Training Courses Committee at the Applied College, organized a lecture titled "Managing Study Stress". The lecture was held on Tuesday, Jumada Al-Awwal 20, 1447 AH (corresponding to November 11, 2025), via the Blackboard platform.


The session was presented by Dr. Aida Nouman, targeting both male and female students of the college. During the lecture, she discussed several key topics that help students effectively cope with academic stress. Among the main points covered were:

  • The concept and causes of study stress,
  • The relationship between anxiety and examinations,
  • The negative effects of academic stress on physical health,
  • The impact of stress on social relationships, and
  • Effective strategies for managing and overcoming study stress.

The lecture concluded with an interactive discussion, during which Dr. Aida Nouman responded to students’ questions and inquiries, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and time management as essential factors for achieving psychological balance and outstanding academic performance.
