On Monday, 16 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 14, 2025, the Student Activities Committee at the Applied College – Female Branch – organized a workshop titled “Candle and Accessories Making” as part of its efforts to enhance students' manual and creative skills, and to empower them to discover and develop their talents in the field of arts and crafts.
The workshop aligned with the college’s vision of supporting purposeful extracurricular activities. It included a range of practical exercises that contributed to refining artistic taste and fostering a spirit of innovation. The event witnessed remarkable attendance and enthusiastic participation from the students, reflecting their eagerness to acquire new and beneficial skills.
Workshop Objectives:
1- Equip students with essential skills in making various types of candles (scented, colored, and decorative).
2- Introduce techniques for designing handmade accessories using diverse materials that enhance artistic and creative expression.
3- Encourage students to consider these skills as potential future entrepreneurial or income-generating projects.
