Educational Visit of Applied College Students to Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah Library to Enhance Students’ Knowledge Awareness – First Semester 1447
As part of enhancing knowledge awareness, students from the Applied College conducted an educational visit to Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah Central Library on Monday, 23 Rabi Al-Awwal 1447, corresponding to September 16, 2025. The student delegation was welcomed by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahrani, Vice Dean for Knowledge Resources at the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the various sections and facilities of the central library. Mr. Abdullah Al-Hamami, Assistant Director of Library Affairs, also participated in welcoming the students.
During the visit, the students received hands-on training on how to access the resources of the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, as well as how to search for books and scientific references through the university’s electronic portal. This practical experience aimed to enable students to make the most of the available knowledge resources.
At the end of the visit, the Student Affairs Unit, represented by the Student Activities Committee and the Student Counseling Committee at the Applied College, expressed their sincere appreciation to the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources for organizing this valuable educational visit and for the useful information and guidance provided to the students.
This visit is part of a series of educational activities organized by the Applied College with the aim of strengthening students’ engagement with available knowledge resources and encouraging them to utilize academic resources to support their educational journey.
