Click Club at the Applied College – Main Campus – Organizes a Training Course on "Cybersecurity Fundamentals" to Enhance Students' Security Awareness – Second Semester 1446
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote security awareness and enhance students' skills in cybersecurity, Click Club organized a training course titled "Cybersecurity Fundamentals" on Monday, 18 Sha'ban 1446 AH (February 17, 2025) at the club's headquarters in the college. The course aimed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity and equip them with best practices for protecting information and effectively dealing with cyber threats.
The session was presented by student Salem Al-Sari and covered the following topics:
1- An introduction to cybersecurity and its importance in the digital age.
2- Key cyber threats, including phishing, malware, and social engineering attacks.
3- Methods for creating strong passwords and protecting them from breaches.
4- Risks associated with public networks and open Wi-Fi, and how to stay secure.
5- Security settings for devices and applications to ensure the protection of personal data and sensitive information.
This course reflected Click Club's commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their digital security, contributing to the development of a well-informed generation capable of confidently and professionally tackling cybersecurity challenges.
