Translate to English: The Applied College, represented by the Training and Skills Development Unit, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a workshop titled “Professional Certification in the Labor Market” on Tuesday, 29 Shawwal 1445 AH, corresponding to May 8, 2024, at the college theater. This workshop aims to introduce students to the importance of professional certificates in their academic and professional journey.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al Jabbar, spoke about the importance of professional certificates and the college’s efforts to align a number of professional certificates with the college’s programs. He reviewed the services of the Applied College website in terms of programs and professional certificates and providing all the information needed by students and the community about them.
Then, the head of the Training and Skills Development Unit, Dr. Mohammed Al Shaharani, spoke about the importance of professional certificates in the student’s academic and professional journey. After that, the head of the Professional Certificates Committee, Dr. Sultan Al Maliki, reviewed the mechanisms of registration in the qualifying courses to obtain the professional certificates that the college will offer to its male and female students. A number of students participated in talking about their ambitions and goals in obtaining professional certificates that align with their specializations.
