The Student Activities Committee at the Applied College – Female Branch – Organizes a Lecture Titled "Reflections on the Month of Fasting" – Second Semester 1446
As part of its efforts to enhance religious awareness and deepen the spiritual understanding of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Student Activities Committee at the Applied College - Female Branch organized an enlightening lecture titled "Reflections on the Month of Fasting" on Monday, 18 Sha'ban 1446 AH, corresponding to February 17, 2025. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Badriyah Al-Wad'ai, an Associate Professor at the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion.
The lecture explored the concept and wisdom of fasting, highlighting its profound impact on self-discipline and the strengthening of social bonds. Dr. Al-Wad'ai also emphasized the importance of making the most of Ramadan through acts of worship, such as increasing the recitation of the Quran, engaging in prayers and remembrance, and participating in charitable activities, all of which contribute to both spiritual and intellectual growth.
The session concluded with a reminder of the necessity of preserving the spiritual essence of Ramadan, avoiding distractions of worldly affairs, and focusing on striving for piety and forgiveness, making Ramadan a renewed spiritual journey that reinforces religious and humanitarian values.
