As part of efforts to enhance awareness of information security, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Scholarships and Housing Agency, in collaboration with the Community Responsibility Department at the Applied College, organized a training course titled "Protecting Personal Data in Cyberspace." The course was held on Monday, 23 Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to November 25, 2024, at the College of Sharia Auditorium. It was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Saad Al-Jabbar, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Applied College.
The course targeted international scholarship students and addressed key challenges related to protecting personal data amidst rapid technological advancements. It also discussed strategies to overcome these challenges. Dr. Al-Jabbar provided practical advice on best practices for safeguarding personal data, emphasizing the importance of raising community awareness about cybersecurity and data protection.
