As part of the development program for the capabilities and skills of the National Guard personnel, the Applied College at Najran University conducted the second training course titled "Protecting Personal Data in Cyberspace" through the Zoom program. The course witnessed the attendance of over 420 trainees on Sunday, 14 Ramadan 1445, corresponding to March 24, 2024.

The objective of the course, delivered by Dr. Mohammed Al Jabbar, an assistant professor of Computer Science at the Applied College and Deputy Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, was to provide trainees with an understanding of cybersecurity, data security, as well as familiarize them with different types of risks and threats faced by personal data in cyberspace. Additionally, the course aimed to introduce best practices, tools, and techniques used to protect personal data.
