Based on the NCC mission and application of the principle of community participation, Saudi Society for Sterilization, Disinfection and Infection Control, Chaired by HE the Dean of Community College Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman AL-Qurahsi, organized two lectures on 'Zika Virus' in collaboration with in  Najran King Khalid and AL-Dhafer hospitals on Tuesday,14 Jumada AL-Awwal, 1437. The first lecture was in Najran King Khalid Hospital in the morning and the second lecture was in Al-Dhafer Hospital in the afternoon.  His Excellency shed light on 'Zika Virus', focusing on the following points:

1.       Definition of Zika virus

2.       Zika virus Infection

3.       Reason for Naming

4.       Virus Transfer

5.        History of Zika Virus

6.       Symptoms of the Disease

7.       Prevention and Resistance

At the end of the lecture, the floor of discussion was opened and the attendees' questions and queries were answered.  Competitions took pace and prizes were handed for winners, followed by honoring his Excellency the Dean from management of both Najran King Khalid and AL-Dhafer hospitals for his efforts in serving Najran city.
