Click Club at the Applied College – Female Brunch – organized a training course titled "Fundamentals of Cybersecurity" to enhance security awareness among the college’s students - First semester of 1447
Click Club at the Applied College – Female Branch – held a training course titled "Fundamentals of Cybersecurity" for female students on Thursday, 15 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to November 6, 2025, at the college auditorium in Building 28. The course was presented by Johara Al-Sharman and Sara Al-Hamami, as part of the club’s programs aiming to raise technical awareness and promote digital protection culture among students.
The course included the participation of a group of students from Al-Jurba Intermediate School, strengthening community ties between the university and the educational sector and providing the students with an opportunity to explore modern technology fields within an academic environment.
The curriculum covered key cybersecurity concepts, types of digital threats, methods to protect accounts and devices, along with practical examples and a hands-on explanation of methods to prevent common cyberattacks. The course was characterized by high engagement from both university and school students who actively asked questions and contributed to enriching the discussion.
This program is part of the club’s efforts to support technical awareness, empower female students to acquire modern cybersecurity skills, and enhance community collaboration to benefit the educational process and promote safe digital culture.
