As part of its ongoing efforts to keep pace with modern technological advancements and enhance students' awareness of emerging digital technologies, the Click Club at the Applied College organized a training course titled "Explore the World of Blockchain" on Wednesday, 11 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 9, 2026. The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Blockchain technology, its mechanisms, and its pivotal role in driving digital transformation. It also highlighted various real-world applications of Blockchain across key sectors such as finance, healthcare, and supply chain management.
The session was delivered by student Sarah Safar Al-Yami, who covered the following key topics:
1- An introduction to Blockchain technology, its importance, and core components.
2- Smart contracts and how digital transactions are executed.
3- Applications of Blockchain in various industries.
4- Key features of Blockchain, including security, transparency, and decentralization.
5- Major challenges hindering the adoption of Blockchain.
6- A forward-looking perspective on the future of Blockchain technology.
