The Student Activities Committee at the Applied College Organizes an Educational Visit to Prince Mishal bin Abdullah Central Library to Enhance Students' Cognitive Awareness – Second Semester 1446
The Student Activities Committee at the Applied College organized an educational visit to Prince Mishal bin Abdullah Central Library on Monday, 11th Sha'ban 1446 AH (10th February 2025), as part of its efforts to enhance cognitive awareness and develop scientific research skills among the college's students. The student delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahrani, Deputy for Knowledge Resources at the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, who provided a detailed explanation of the library's various sections and facilities, which aim to provide an integrated educational environment for researchers and students. Also present at the reception was Mr. Abdullah Al-Hammami, Assistant Director of Library Affairs.
The visit included a practical training session for students on how to access the available knowledge resources through the university's electronic portal and how to search for books and scientific references using the modern tools provided by the deanship. This session aimed to enable students to make optimal use of the available academic resources to support their educational and research journey.
At the end of the visit, the Student Affairs Unit, represented by the Student Activities Committee at the Applied College, expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources for their outstanding efforts in organizing the visit and for providing valuable guidance that contributed to enriching the students' cognitive experiences.
