On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, corresponding to 13 Dhul-Qi'dah 1445, the President of Najran University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi, inaugurated the Professional Certification Testing Center at the Applied College. The event was attended by university vice presidents, several deans, directors, and department supervisors.

The CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Belqasem Al-Jaafari, delivered a speech welcoming the university president and the esteemed attendees. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the university president for his efforts in supporting the launch and opening of the first-of-its-kind center at Najran University. Dr. Al-Jaafari emphasized the center's readiness to serve university staff and community members by providing training opportunities and obtaining accredited professional certifications that enhance their skills and prove their competencies in various fields.

The university president toured the Professional Certification Testing Center and inspected its various facilities. Dr. Sultan Al-Malki, the head of the Professional Certification Committee at the Applied College, spoke about the different preparations, partnerships related to professional certifications, and the software used in the center. Additionally, the university president honored a group of staff members from the Applied College who actively contributed to the establishment of the Professional Certification Center and the formation of its related partnerships.
