The Student Activities Committee, in collaboration with Click Club at the Applied College, organizes a Lecture Titled "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" - First Semester 1446
As part of its efforts to enhance digital literacy and educate students about the latest technologies, the Student Activities Committee at the Applied College, in collaboration with Click Club, organized a virtual lecture titled "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence." The lecture was held on Sunday, 1st Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to November 3, 2024, via the Blackboard platform.
Dr. Basem Al-Absi delivered the lecture, where he explored in the first segment the nature of artificial intelligence through explaining basic concepts and definitions, reviewing the historical development of AI and its importance in the current era.
The second segment addressed various classifications of artificial intelligence, discussing the difference between narrow and general AI, machine learning systems, and deep neural networks.
The third segment covered the practical applications of artificial intelligence in daily life, the impact of this technology across various sectors, and explored the future of AI and its promising opportunities.
